Joan R. Palmer

Joan R. Palmer has passed into the loving hands of God on March 12, 2010. She is now at rest and free of the pain she suffered for many years due to illness.      Joan is a past resident of
The Dalles, Oregon who has been
residing in Yuma, Arizona for the past four years. Joan moved to Yuma in June of 2006 to enjoy the retirement she greatly deserved with her husband Lowell of 48 wonderful years.
Joan was born December 1, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas. She spent most of her teen years in Southern California before meeting her adoring husband Lowell, it was love at first sight. Joan is survived by her husband Lowell and two sons,
Dr. Lowell E. Palmer, Jr. of Battleground, Washington, and Special Investigator Shawn Palmer a resident of Yuma. Joan was extremely proud of her three men who in return loved her with all their hearts.
Joan will truly be missed by friends and family, as she was a caring, loving, thoughtful, and devoted woman. Joan enjoyed traveling to visit old friends and relatives who reside in Oregon and other states. Her main hobby was taking care
of a loving home for her husband and children.
Internment will be graveside services on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Vista Cemetery between Fortuna and Foothills Blvd. on 40th in Yuma, Arizona.
